Abraham Anaba

A software engineer by training, I now lead data and AI projects. Between Douala and Paris, I have learned one thing: a project succeeds when people use it. That is what I aim for, every time.

I started on the ground. IT support at GIT SA, then a branch’s information system at STA. That is where I learned that a tool is only worth the use people make of it.

During my Master’s in software engineering at the National Advanced School of Engineering in Douala, I led freelance projects for Cleafun and Camerounada. I then ran UDoCert, a platform that lets the University of Douala issue diplomas anyone can verify on the blockchain.

Since 2025 I have been in Paris, studying for an MSc in Data & AI Project Management at ESIC while working at Castor Education, where I analyse learning journeys to reduce dropout.

One day this work will carry a name: Braimons, the data consultancy I am building. For now, it is me you will be working with.

Approach

How I work

Start from the decision

Before building a dashboard, I ask who will use it, to decide what, and how often. That question prevents a lot of useless projects.

Ship early, then measure

I would rather have a first tool in use after three weeks than a perfect one after six months. Then we measure and adjust.

Keep things readable

An executive should understand in thirty seconds, an expert should be able to check everything. I write and build for both.

Build to hand over

Documented code, traceable data, recorded decisions. What I deliver should be able to live on without me.
